Thriller stuffss - JJ

SO! pretty much guys after watching some of those thriller openings in class theres some stuff i think we should defo avoid... and some other things we could possibly steal, I've attched two videos here just to show you what i think is greeeeet and some stuf that made me cringe (with dislikingness)
For example this "Dead Runner" made me want to run away from the screen, if they had used that same chain shot one more time i would have possibly tore some back hair out. So i think we should definately reframe from showing the same clip more than once. And we should try and keep it all related, because the eyes... hmmm good closeup but not used to the greatest effect me thinks. Also lets try and find an unknown location, filming at a very regognisable area of the school, not a good idea. Now this vidoa i liked very much:

I think that there are a few really good things on this opener that we can nick hehe. The establishing shots are great they really add to the effect of mystery, espesially when the guys walking down the alley way. Maybe we can interprite this diferently in our ideas. And one thing that was awesome, was spinning it off a true story, with the news paper and the news real going across the screen. I think we should definately have a newspaper story behind our opener and maybe flashing between that and the captive. Also we could ha ve the captove watching a tv with the news report of him being missingh on if thats at all possible. or ofcourse we can make this and he can watch it on the computor. Not that hell have muxch choice as hes a captive. But anyways im blabbing on sooo, ive done my H/W now haha!
